Precision Light. Clean Lines.
The roller blind, perfected — engineered to fit, specified to perform.
The roller blind is one of the most architecturally satisfying window treatments available: minimal, flat, and disciplined in its geometry. But the difference between a roller blind that performs and one that merely fills a window lies entirely in the quality of the specification. Fabric choice, cassette profile, side-channel depth, and operating system all determine whether the result reads as a considered design decision or an afterthought. At MS Design, we specify roller blinds from the opening outward — matching fabric weight and opacity to the room’s light requirements, the cassette to the architectural frame, and the operating system to how you live.
FEATURE BULLETS
Our bespoke fitted furniture range covers bedroom wardrobes, alcove units, under-stair storage, home office cabinetry, and media wall systems. Each project begins with a measured survey and a design consultation to understand how the space is used, what needs to be stored, and how the furniture should relate to the existing architecture and finish palette. Carcass options include painted MDF, lacquered board, and real-wood veneer, with door styles available in shaker, slab, fluted, and custom-routed profiles. Internal configurations — including hanging rails, shelving, drawer systems, pull-out units, and integrated lighting — are designed specifically for the contents and the user. All furniture is manufactured to order and installed by our team, including any necessary making-good, cornice work, and integration with existing skirting and architrave profiles.
Available in:
- Total blackout, engineered correctly — side-channel systems eliminate edge light gaps for true room darkening, not near-darkness
- Solar fabric precision — openness factor selection controls glare, heat, and view in equal measure
- Cassette concealment — slim-line, fascia, and recessed cassette options for clean integration with the window reveal
- Wide-width capability — single-piece fabrics for wide openings, avoiding the visual interruption of split-blind arrangements
- Coordinated hardware — powder-coated brackets, tubes, and cassettes specified to match the wider interior palette
- Contract and residential grades — fabric weights and operating systems selected for longevity in both domestic and commercial applications

⚡ MOTORISATION&AUTOMATION — A motorised roller blind is not simply a convenience — it is a more considered product. Wide-width blinds in particular benefit from motorisation: there are no chains, no uneven pulls, and the fabric travels precisely without the risk of lateral drift that manual operation introduces on larger spans. Scheduling means your blinds respond to the rhythm of the day — opening at a set time to ease the morning, closing at dusk to retain heat. For rooms with multiple roller blinds, group control means every window responds simultaneously at the touch of a single command.
